I didn’t know that many people will actually ask for the pictures taken during Code Camp! So anyway, I’ve uploaded them in a zip file. Thank you for coming to Code Camp, and may you benefit from the camp!!

Thanks for coming to witness the “WOW” with us at the successfull Campus Launch !!

the event is so success after all of the tough, and here, i really thanks to all my committe that had contribute in the event.

First, thanks to our faculty advisor, Ms Kathleen and Mr Yong that had help us a lot and support from back. thanks for everything !

Our “dai go” + santa clause, Vico, thanks for all the goodies and helping also !

Woo Tong, the helper adopt mother, thanks to u for finding all the helpers and arrange their duty.

Nicole, prepared for the minit and invitation card, the card is nice.

Chong Wen, treasurer, keep all the money nicely and i think we earn more than that. GOOD !

the program master hong ying and sin yee.

Hong Ying, thanks for find the MC and performance, u done all the program flow nice, and sorry for previously anything that make u feel not good.

Sin Yee, our Vista Girl. haha. the open ceremony is great, thanks for making it nice.

the program team, Kah ho and Teng Foung, thanks for the work in the vista hunt, is a GREAT event also. and thanks for control the PA on launch day.

Ee lin and Glenn, an important task also, like questionaire and lucky draw, thanks for make the crowd come. and thanks to the “keep on changing” questionaire.

Ting Yang, full promote for the design competition, GOOD result !

Wensin, our little marketing girl, thanks for ur broadcasting team and promotion, san fu sai lo !!

Yu Bin & Naresh, the GREATEST maintanance guys !! thanks for all the maintanence and floor plan, both of u had done a GREAT job !!

Samuel and Ah Shui, install fest guy, sorry for the cd key problem. thanks to both of u that keep on selling the DVD.

Seng Chuan, suppose is the CS Division, but at last, i think u had handle the part of fund raising, thanks for that !

Don’t forget my others 2 partner Jonathan and Kok Chiann, thanks for all the design and support !! is GREAT to work together.

Last but not least, our refreshment guy, Wei Loong, finally, i don’t know what u had done at all. but thanks to u also that participate in this event as committee only.

Not forget to all the helpers that help in this event! U all are GREAT too !!

We’ve actually set this last week, but it’s only now that I could find time to post it out. So the program/agenda for Code Camp is as follows:

Internet Explorer 7 and RSS

These are really, really exciting topics, and they allow developers to do really, really cool things. Heck, the sky’s the limit! Most importantly, they’re not hard to use/learn! It’s also an easy way to score more marks in your FYP – by differentiating yourself with the majority of FYPs!

* IE7 and RSS session also introduces XML. Detailed topic contents will be available by end of Feb or March.

Getting Done with “Paperwork”

Yeah, in whatever you do, there’s always paperwork involved. Everything’s aboug documentation. So boy am I glad we’ve got the paperwork for Code Camp pretty much completed. We’re just awaiting SAD’s approval in black and white. We’re also in the process of properly defining the presentation topics – we gotta make sure they’re relevant, not too technical and not too boring! Not easy I tell you..

Since we’re waiting SAD’s offical approval, we can’t actually collect participant fees. So if you’re interested in going for Code Camp, you can “reserve” your place by sending us your name and college ID to tarcmsp@hotmail.com. But do remember, your registration won’t be complete until you pay the fee of RM 30.

So what are you waiting for? Register yourself today! And oh, don’t forget asking your friends ’bout this too..

Hello world!

Welcome to TARC MSPs Blog. Like the way we learned programming, we’ll start with “Hello world!“. We’re still in the process of defining the exact content that you’ll see in the future here, but please, it’s not allllllllll about:

This blog is about us, the three Microsoft Student Partners at TARC. We’re not going to post 1 article a day about a random Microsoft product.

This will not be as boring as Google’s “official blog“. Their offical blog is more of a toned down press release. Boh-ring!

What we will post though, is the little interesting things we encounter along the way as MSPs, the people we meet, events we attend, and freebies we get.. hehe :p

We’ve got our semester exams round the corner, and yet, we need to rush out plans for TWO events in March. So stay tuned!
